Libre Fighter
Design based on input given to me by Scott Babb, founder of Libre Fighting. The Libre Fighter is a purpose built self-defense knife. Made of 3/16 thick S35VN stainless steel, the knife is 8 3/8 in long with a 3 7/8 in blade. The top one inch of the back of the blade is sharpened giving the Libre Fighter the ability to penetrate thick, heavy material and is also designed to make the scoring cuts and plucks used in Libre even more effective. The flat cutting edge maximizes filleting cuts and the “notch” area on the spine gives the off hand a repeatable purchase point for reinforced cuts. The handle of the Libre Fighter has been designed to fit in the hand comfortably in all grips. Each Libre Fighter will be delivered in a custom fitted kydex sheath. The Gunnar, old Norse for warrior, is a full size combat utility knife. Designed for hard use, it has thumb notches along the spine, forward of the handle and at the rear of the handle for positive control. The flat area at the end of the butt is fully checkered and is suitable for use as an impact devise. Handle slabs are attached with allen head screws for easy maintenance.
Options:
G-10 or Micarta handles
Flat black, Combat Grey, or Coyote Tan Duracoat blade finish.
Also available in satin or bead blasted finish.
Kydex sheath included.
